eazyBI Reports and Charts for Jira

eazyBI is a robust application designed to facilitate the creation of user-friendly custom reports, charts, and dashboard gadgets within Jira. By integrating Budgety with eazyBI, users can elevate their budgeting and cost reporting capabilities to new heights.

How to configure Budgety in eazyBI?

To begin, access the advanced settings section of eazyBI within your instance. Click on the settings icon and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Upon entering the settings view, navigate to the "Advanced settings" tab, where you will find an empty area designated for code snippets.

You should copy the following into the designated code area, but refrain from updating the settings just yet. We first need to modify the code to align with the endpoints of our instance. To do this, please refer to the Budgety API Documentation.

Replace the endpoints in the code with those specified in the API Documentation section of your Budgety.

After updating your code with the necessary endpoints, simply click the "Update advanced settings" button to proceed.

To begin selecting the source data, navigate to the Source Data section and click on the "Add new source application" button.

eazyBi provides you with the flexibility to select a source application. For this case, please choose Jira.

Choose the desired projects from your Jira instance and navigate to the Add-ons section.

Before you proceed, please return to Budgety and generate a token. If you have any questions regarding this process, feel free to consult our documentation for guidance.

After creating the token, return to the Add-ons section. Scroll down until you locate the Budgety field, input the ID and API key of the token you just generated and click on “Import” button.

If everything is set up correctly you will see the following screen:

Upon completion, you can navigate to the Analyze section, where a variety of Budgety examples await your exploration.
